Jon Phillip Marquand
Born and raised in NW Wisconsin. Educated at the Mondovi, Wisconsin grade and high school and University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire.
He always boasts of his daughter Heather and his son Jonathan. He has two grandchildren named Brittani and Kevin and has a great pride for all four.
He has never compared himself to John Phillips Marquand, who was a great author and Pulitzer Prize winner, but hopes to one day have the same notoriety of this accomplished man.
During his time of writing one page essays and stories through poetry, he had the idea of writing books that could be read in a relatively short amount of time. To date there are over thirty books completed and another seventeen that he is working on.
These books have been created for the enjoyment of the reader, who may not want to indulge into a long novel, but to have some fun reading a story that does not “drag on” to its fruition.
Jon lives in Costa Rica and enjoys writing these books for Short Flight Novels. As he so clearly states, “Read a fun story and have a nice trip”.
